The Purpose of the role
The role will be responsible for dispatch operations and ensure efficient coordination of goods and services. The role will entail order processing, route planning and invoicing the customers.
Job description
Detailed responsibilities include:
- Responsible for Planning, Scheduling and Coordinating timely dispatch of goods
- Receiving purchase orders from customers for delivery and booking it.
- Generates and send invoices to customers for the products they have received. This includes listing what was; provided, how much the cost and total amount.
- Maintaining detailed records of dispatch activities including delivery times, route taken, and proof of delivery
- Customer care-liaison with commercial team and clients to provide delivery updates, resolve complaints, and ensure high service standards.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Verify dispatch documents and ensure accuracy of orders being shipped.
- Track stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for smooth operations.
- Prepare regular reports on dispatch performance and logistics operations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during dispatch.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG is preferred.
- Proficiency in dispatch management systems.
